I am a multi-dimensional individual with a passion for many industries primarily Third Sector, Hospitality and Food & Drinks. After a career in the charity sector I now move mainly in the food & drinks industry and have now published 2 cook books as well as contributed to and international ethnic collection of recipes

Career history

HJ Services & Co. – Founder  – December 2019                                                           HJ Services & Co. was created as an umbrella entity through which I offer the services for which I have a true passion. Both with a guiding and teaching underlay. HJ Services & Co. offer French language services (Incl. NGO) and also small charities consulting services. HJ Services & Co. also offers French Teaching & Translation services: Main clients include Lambeth Palace & LCF

PEACE CHILD INTERNATIONAL – Trustee – Mar 2019 – Present Peace Child International is an international development charity that seeks to empower the youth and widowed in poor areas in Africa, Latin America, Asia and the UK. As a trustee, my role is to work closely with and support the CEO as we develop different fundraising approaches to increase income in the charity.

ASSOCIATION REN UK – Board of Trustees Advisor – Dec 2018 –  Dec 2019 Association REN UK is a newly registered membership charity committed to giving grants to individuals and organisations working to relieve poverty, promote social inclusion for disables, mentally ill and substance abusers here in the UK and in Africa.

Medair  UK, London – Supporters’ Events & Community Fundraising Coordinator  (Contract)   –  June 2018  –  Oct 2018
Medair (part of Medair International) is an emergency & recovery humanitarian charity specialised in disaster zones across the world. They have just started to develop their events programme in the UK. During my 3 months, I coordinated 6 events. I have successfully brought in my expertise in events managing and fundraising from Community Fundraisers in a way encourages them to do it again for the charity.

Volunteering roles

  • Crisis at Christmas: I have been a general volunteers with Crisis for 10 years
  • Floating Shelters (homelessness): The floating shelter require overnight volunteers and I have been a volunteer here for 5 years
  • Aslan – Webber Street Centre (homelessness): I have been a volunteer here for over 5 years
  • New Life Centre (Christian organisation – Children and youth services): I have been a volunteer her for 2 years
  • ACT (African Child Trust): Events volunteer.

I regularly volunteer for these charities. Some are periodical, others run throughout the year. They all only require my presences for a number of hours a month and are all worthy causes.

Where I cannot volunteer time, I give back by running 10k every quarter.
